In addition, research confirms a strong correlation between learning and teaching environments and levels of satisfaction. Although the student voice has been somewhat dormant prior to the 1990s, many providers have realised that there is a need to re-evaluate their approaches to provision by placing a greater emphasis on meeting the expectations and needs of students and also other stakeholders.
